Yangzhou Dilong YD1000 Rock Pipe Jacking Machine achieved a breakthrough application in the Suining Project, Sichuan Province, successfully completing the full-line jacking works. Boasting outstanding equipment performance, the machine overcame construction challenges in complex rock strata and set a national record for the longest full-face rock jacking distance of pipe jacking machines with a diameter below 1.2 meters, demonstrating the robust stratum adaptability and reliable construction capacity of the company’s rock pipe jacking equipment.
The Suining pipe jacking project in Sichuan presented extremely challenging working conditions. The entire construction section consists of fully weathered moderately hard rock strata featuring high rock hardness, poor geological stability and substantial resistance during rock excavation and jacking. Extremely high requirements are imposed on the rock breaking capacity, structural stability, cutterhead wear resistance and continuous jacking performance of pipe jacking machines. Conventional pipe jacking equipment is prone to frequent jacking stagnation, severe cutterhead abrasion and low construction efficiency in similar full-face rock strata. Long-distance rock jacking represents a typically high-difficulty undertaking within the industry.
Targeting the complex working condition of full-face moderately weathered rock strata in this project, our YD1000 Rock Pipe Jacking Machine gave full play to its strengths as professional rock construction equipment and precisely adapted to the geological characteristics of moderately weathered rock. Equipped with a dedicated rock-breaking cutterhead and high-strength wear-resistant cutters, the machine delivers powerful rock cutting capacity to efficiently excavate compact moderately weathered rock.
