Shallow pipelines are excavated faster, and they can be dug at night and backfilled in the morning, and then covered with steel plates, without affecting traffic much. If the pipeline is deep, in order to prevent landslides, a certain slope is required for excavation, which will have a greater impact on traffic. If the ground is a quicksand layer and soil with strong water permeability, it is also prone to landslides and is not suitable for excavation.
How thick is the sewage pipe for pipe jacking construction? What material is it made of? The inner diameter is generally above 600 mm.
